Message on the Occasion of the Formation of the Punjab Muslim Students’ Federation, on 1st October, 1937
Advises “Not to be led away by Visionary Ideas”
“The crying need for the Musalmans is to organize themselves and stand on one platform and under one flag of the only organization of the Muslims, namely, the All India Muslim League. Our hope lies in our young men who will soon have to bear the burden and responsibility of the immediate future. I feel that in the present conditions and the way in which things are moving, if the Muslims are not organized and solidarity and unity is not established, they are likely to be crushed, nay, even wiped out of their proper place in the national affairs on the country and of the Government that is set up and may be set up hereafter. I therefore, appeal to you youngmen not to be led away by visionary ideas but act as practical men in the light of realities which face us. I wish you all success.”
